Ariela and Braden had one of the most perfect fall days for a wedding that I can remember. The air was crisp and that quintessential New England fall smell was floating in the breeze. Braden is the third sibling of his family that I have had the honor of photographing. It was wonderful to see all the familiar faces again! It is not often that I am in Vermont for a wedding, but if I am, there is a good chance it is because of Braden’s family!
The wedding day started off with a calm and happy mood. Ariela was surrounded by her family and friends as she got ready. One thing that struck me was how calm and supportive Ariela’s mom was as Ariela was finishing up the final details with her dress. She kept saying, almost in a whisper, “you are so beautiful Ariela, everything is perfect!” I was so touched by her support of Ariela! And she was right, everything was perfect and Ariela was stunning. All day long I could not put my finger on who Ariela looked like but at the last second of the day I cracked the code- Emma Stone!!
Ariela was not the only beautiful specimen of the day- the ceremony site was one of the prettiest I have seen. Tucked into the back of the property, surrounded by brightly colored yellow trees is where Braden and Ariela said their I do’s. The ceremony was intimate, sweet and full of love….which was kind of the theme for the rest of the night. Cocktail hour had drinks, tasty food and plenty of laughter. Dinner was served in the Inn, which had a classy dinner party vibe. Then it was on to desserts and dancing and in the barn!
If I had to imagine how my last wedding of the season would go- this would have been it. A sweet couple in a beautiful location- it couldn’t have been any more perfect! And just like that, year nine of “officially” being in the wedding business has come to a close. Wild.
