Paige & Crosby had a beautifully unique wedding on Peaks Island this past weekend. Kerry and I started our day split, I was in Cape Elizabeth with Paige and Kerry was in Portland with Crosby on his family boat. When Paige was ready to go we made our way to Portland for a first look on the dock. It was so full of emotion and perfect! Paige is a crier, she says she just can’t help it. It made for some sweet photos. After the first look, there was a mix up with the water taxi and we had ample down time. Paige and Crosby decided to hop in the dinghy, just like we did for their engagement photos, and take a ride around the harbor. We ended up floating over by the ferry terminal. When the ferry pulled out Paige and Crosby were able to see a bunch of their guests and give them all a welcome wave!
The water taxi arrived and we made our way to T.E.I.A. for the ceremony. It was a small ceremony with only a few guests present. Close family and friends stood on the decks of the building to witness Paige and Crosby say their vows on the dock. After the ceremony was done and some quick family photos were taken, another boat arrived with the second round of guests. The party was about to start! The newlyweds shared a sweet first dance on the deck surrounded closely by all their guests and then it was on to the reception.
The rest of the night was filled with hugs and laughter. The dance floor was hot which is a good thing because it was quite chilly outside for mid September!
