Kelly & Aurelien were married in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire at Owl’s Nest Resort. I met Kelly and Aurelien last year for their engagement session. We walked around the rocks at Two Lights park and chatted about the plans for their wedding day. I am usually on the coast so heading to the mountains is always an exciting change- and their wedding day did not disappoint! Not only was the location super picturesque, a golf course surrounded by mountains, but the weather was pretty much perfection as well.
After a sweet first look we cruised around in the golf cart to a couple different spots, each more beautiful than the last. I thought Kelly and Aurelien did great during their engagement session, but apparently they fine tuned their modeling skills because they absolutely crushed their wedding day portraits! After couple’s portraits we took the (very) large and (very!) fun wedding party to the back deck for some more formal photos. They might have won for the largest wedding party we have ever photographed- I’d have to go back to the books, but I’m pretty sure they take the cake! Luckily for Kerry and I they were all very cooperative so we were able to wrap up the photos well before ceremony time.
One of my favorite moments was right after the ceremony, Kelly & Aurelien shared a sweet moment to themselves around the corner before the rest of the wedding party caught up to them after walking down the isle. It was such a sweet and genuine moment and I am glad I was there to snag a photo before the moment moved on to congratulatory hugs from everyone. The rest of the afternoon and evening was full of family and friends and great music. All of their guests clearly had an amazing time- the energy was high and the laughter was unmatched!
