Hannah and Ethan had a beautiful wedding day on the coast of Maine this past weekend. I didn’t meet Hannah and Ethan before their wedding day…oh, wait…yes I did! I was photographing a different wedding (Ting and Graham) the day before Hannah and Ethan’s wedding and happened to walk past a sign in the front of the venue that said “Hannah & Ethan.” I stopped, and for a split second was very confused as to what wedding I was actually photographing at that point in time. It being the end of a very busy season, I hope you can all understand! Turns out, Hannah and Ethan were hosting their rehearsal dinner at the very same venue! Whaaaaaaat….what are the chances?! Kerry urged me to sneak in to say a quick hello and I am so glad I did!
The beautiful October weather was in full force at The Union Bluff that day. The sun definitely took what little there was of a fall chill out of the air. Hannah and Ethan were so sweet and so easy to work with. The day went flawlessly and the couple were able to enjoy every second they had with their friends and family. I often photograph at Union Bluff during the summers when the beach is super crowded. This day there were only a handful of people walking about when we all went out for some dreamy sunset shots. Hannah’s dress may have gotten a little sandy but it was so worth it and we were able to brush it off back on the patio of the meeting house. As some of me new favorite people to work with (Alice & Molly of Terraform Entertainment) said- “It is all part of the day.” Yes, yes it is…the good, the funny, the silly, the emotional…whatever the “it” is, is part of the day and I love documenting it!
Such a fun day! Congratulations Hannah & Ethan!
