Amanda & Sam were married at the amazing Josias River Farm in Cape Neddick, Maine. I have a slight obsession with flowers. I love planting and expanding my home gardens. Every time I am at Josias River Farm I always, allllwaaayyys check out what is planted and where. There is just so much goodness everywhere you look! I also love houseplants, but I seem to kill them all rather quickly. Laura (owner or Josias) does not have that problem- her plants look phenomenal! I am hoping the guests have better luck with houseplants than I do….the reception tables were decorated in cute little succulent glass planters that I am sure were taken home at the end of the night.
It was a beautiful late summer/early fall day and I was definitely feeling the fall vibes with the beautiful florals. The day was warm and the wedding colors had pops of orange and yellow. As the sun faded a chill came about the air and one could feel summer slipping away- which is totally fine with me, I love fall weddings!
Amanda & Sam had their sweet first look and were able to take almost all of their formal photos before the ceremony which allowed them to enjoy almost their entire cocktail hour. Cocktail hour was held in the barn that was draped with beautiful white sashes and lights. I have seen lots of things having photographed so many weddings, but I have never, ever seen a best man pull out a pirate hat and patch for the bride and groom to wear. It was amazing! The whole tent lit up with laughter and smiles.
Amanda and Sam were so easy going and so lovely to work with. I wish you guys all the best in your new married life together!
