Ohhh Meaghan & Danny… two of the sweetest souls. Our families are connected – my husband’s aunt is Meaghan’s Godmother. We have gone hiking with Meaghan and her mom, and our kiddos are currently using some of Meaghan’s old snowshoes. So to say it was an honor to photograph this wedding is an understatement!
I knew this day was going to be a great day- just one of those photo gut feelings. The sun was shining, the air was warm and there was a perfect cool breeze coming off the ocean when we started our day. Meaghan and Danny got ready at Anchorage by the Sea in Ogunquit and had their first look by the water. They were hoping for a private first look, which didn’t quite happen. Turns out, Marginal Way on a beautiful day in September, even a Friday, is a place where people want to be. Luckily, we had some awesome groomsmen who were crowd controlling the pathway so the bride and groom could have as much privacy as they could for a moment or two.
After we adventured along the rocks we made our way to The Red Barn at Outlook Farm. I love this venue. The staff is always super nice, the location is beautiful (and pretty close to home), the inside is stunning and that beautiful tree at the ceremony site- perfection! I love that there is a forest feel to the ceremony and a wide open look on the beautiful golf course path with rolling hills. Two completely different feelings in one prefect little spot in Southern Maine.
The ceremony was perfect- we found out that Meaghan is really funny and she likes to let Danny know just how funny she is. The cocktail hour was perfect- all the guests were sweet as pie and so easy to photograph. The reception was (you guessed it!) perfect. There was so much laughter and over all good vibes that it was truly heartwarming. And I have to mention the hot dance floor brought to you by Jason, The Music Man AGAIN- second week in a row, woot woot!
It was amazing to see Meaghan and Danny all smiles and enjoying their wedding day to the fullest. They deserve every ounce of happiness that comes their way…and more!
Congratulations Meaghan and Daniel (hehe) – we are so so happy for you- soak in every second of your newlywed status!
