Mary & Ian were married at the beautiful Beech Ridge Barn in Scarborough, Maine this past Saturday. I was able to meet them both last year for an engagement session and was completely smitten with them! They are genuinely good humans and are so in love with each other…which made the session so fun and easy breezy!
Fast forward to this past weekend and we (myself and my second shooter husband, Kerry) found out that not only are Mary and Ian amazing people but their entire families are flat out wonderful. Their wedding party was full of sweet, beautiful girls and rowdy, fun guys. And to top that off- they hired an amazing team to pull off an amazing wedding day- see vendor list below! So, you can definitely say we had a great time photographing this day!
The weather was iffy all week- rain was forecasted, then high damaging winds and thunderstorms. However, none of those situations popped up. The day was a perfectly warm summer day. Ian’s father and two brother’s are pastors and I feel like they may have had some insider help with the weather 😉 Side note- I need to find out where they preach because I probably would attend service…every…single…week. Ian’s father was the officiant of the ceremony and rocked it and his brother’s completely roasted him (in a loving brotherly way) during their speeches. Needless to say they were amazing speakers and everyone could feel the love they had for Ian and Mary all day long.
There was a whole lot of love from friends and family all day long and then a HOT dance floor to finish off the night! From the second that music started for open dancing the floor was packed with a whole lot of high energy guests.
Thank you Mary and Ian for not only be amazing but for surrounding yourselves with amazing friends and family to celebrate you on your wedding day. All our best to you, always!
